
Overview
Defined by 49CFR 173.12, a "Lab Pack" refers to small quantities of wastes, which are
securely packed in an outer container and have a detailed chemical inventory list
attached. Typically, these wastes are received from research facilities, science labs,
educational institutions, and industrial facilities. WasteXpress field technicians have
been trained to eliminate potential human and environmental exposures, while
maintaining our commitment to reclaim, recycle, or reuse as much product as possible.
On-Site Lab Pack Services
WasteXpress Environmental technicians will identify, classify, collect, segregate,
package and label your waste into DOT approved containers. Our technicians receive
on-going, rigorous training in EPA and DOT regulations regarding to the packing,
transportation and disposal of all waste materials. Prior to arrival at a work site, field
technicians complete a contingency plan outlining health and safety factors for each
specific job. WasteXpress has a wide verity of technical personnel include chemists,
chemical engineers, environmental scientists and technicians who perform routine and
highly specialized services throughout the Northwest. Our field technicians have
numerous years of correlated experience and are field experts in classification of all
waste according to DOT, RCRA, LDR, and state regulated waste, regulations.
WasteXpress also handles and performs management for High Hazard waste. Our
experience and specialized equipment allows us to manage a variety of highly
hazardous waste situations, including stabilization of reactive chemicals allowing safe
shipping in accordance to DOT regulations.
